Just wondering is that your actual mold or just a picture of what you want to do, if that is actually your mold I would be very interested in asking you some questions about how much resin and fiberglass is used for each mold? I have access to such items and would like to know what kind of deal could be worked out if I supplied my own materials.

Still wondering about the resin and fiberglass quantities. Follow up question would be what type of resin you are using and what type of fiberglass?

FOR STRENGTH and DURABILITY
1 . We hand lay all our fiberglass using
vinylester resin.
Our layup consists of:
1. Black gel coat
2 . 3/4 oz. mat.
3. 18 oz. woven cloth
4. 1-1/2 oz. mat

That car was the first one we pulled out of the molds.

Thanks Kevin. I don;t even like the 66 car that much, but that's a great looking kit. I'd wet myself if they had an 89 kit that came like that. And I'd wet myself AND everyone standing near me if I could afford said 89 kit

Tnanks for the response Kevin, i keep looking at the 66 and thinking how coolit would be to leave it all black and make it without all the " bat " stuff. The way it looks right out of the mold is real sweet. I'm going to have to get a hold of a 1/18 scale and modify it to my ideas.

The picture above is the full size picture. It just displays smaller for the forum. It will be full size if you save it.

I like it, but if I owned one i would have to have it super accurate like Nate's. Second though I would like to see the updated, more menacing version. Probably add the roof too.

Nice work Matt, I'm talking about putting some real aggressive tires and rims on it and possibly leaving off the back glass. I'll work on my model and let you know what I come up with.
