RE: Chris' Retro Bat
That's pretty slick. Thank you.
Pontiac builds excitement. Woodside tears 'em apart.

RE: Chris' Retro Bat
Matt - it is really cool to have someone with your talent here on the boards! And its funny, because we never really saw you using it until a couple days ago you've started to go nuts with Photoshop and drawing! Keep up the good work dude!
This kinda goes to show something we've mentioned here in the past - there is SO MUCH talent on these boards that sometimes even our own members, and DEFINATELY the random newbies who pop up, don't even realise. That is one reason I started the MEMBERS RIDES thread to showcase the talent around here!
I can't wait to see this project pop off the page guys! Even more, I hope it sparks the interest of several more board members who might want to tackle custom projects like this!

RE: Chris' Retro Bat
Chris,
What year/model headlights are you using? I just pulled some off a Boxter for the 'shopped pic. Original style canopy and turbine are the only other constraing factors to your envisioned design? Wheelbase will be un-modified from the donor? How does the scale of the canopy compare to the donor? I'd think they'd be a bit large. Are you considering or open to 1)cutting down the canopy, if possible or 2)using another windscreen design. You're wish is a "streamlined" version of the '66 car? I know ultimately, it's up to you and your builder, but just wanted to get an idea of what your looking for, so when I'm bored in front of Photoshop, I can have something fun to play around with.

I still like Matt's but with the Foose windshield. Porshe headlights would probably look good on this design too. I really like the way the rear fender kicks up over the back tire. Gives it more of a muscle car look.

Thanks Justin. I try to contribute where I can since I'm not building a car. For now I guess it's photoshop and jokes I like the Foose windshield too. That looks tough!
