Built some "shelving" for the Tumbler because i ran across some more wood in my closet i didnt know i had, so i'm gonna try to get some more built here in the near future

So i got to work on some more parts for the Tumbler. We lost our camera so i dont have clean pictures, i'll take some when i find the camera.
Here is the side intake
And the flange that attaches to it
the trim piece that goes below the passenger side window. As you can see the window and this piece are NOT running parallel as they should. I might fix that later, dont know.
And just an overall shot. These were all taken while it was hanging on my wall, so please forgive the awkwardness.

I've been sleeping on this.
Only saw this when i saw the new layout of the website that Web Batty did..which by the way is way cool.
Shagg...this rocks. Must be the most detailed small version of the Tumbler ever - besides the WB's little remote model....which is smaller than yours.
Awesome. Are these from your equally awesome templates? i'm starting mine in cardboard this weekend...but the humidity will kill the shapes. any ideas on what to use instead of free cardboard i'm getting from work? I just want to mock up the front half first with something, then make the decision to go metal or "other". my vehicle is heavy as it is and I still don't have a replacement engine that will push it so i'd like something really light, but inexpensive.
anyways...awesome body work.
...does it come in black?

Thanks Conrad, i was hoping you've just been busy, and not that you've given up the Bat build . So that in itself is a relief. Honestly the reason why i went for wood instead of cardboard was in fact the warping factor. It just means having to break the panels down, section by section. To have minimal work, it would be absolutely fantastic to have a shop bend out sheets of steel for you in the shape of your panels. The work would be quick, and i think i recall having it priced, and to have all the panels build in 2/3rds scale was $350 for 10 sheets of steel. I was gonna draw it out on the sheets of steel, and write out the measurements of angles, then have a shop bend it all up for me.
From there i could have left it as steel, OR for lightness, molded it and made fiberglass copies. The great thing is, the steel would be already smooth, the angles should be sharp, and no need for finishing, so work will go fast, and it will be LESS work on yourself. When i get ready to build the full scale Tumbler, STEEL will be my route to go!

OH, i also remembered, coreplast, its like cardboard, but only made of plastic. You should ask BWD about the pro's and cons about using the stuff since his build consisted of it. He would be the master on that one.

literally spent all day today working on the rear section of the roof, i have only HALF of it done, passenger half to be exact lots and LOTS of fine details! gah! I'll have pictures just as soon as we can find the camera that has grown legs and ran off.

This is the part that i'm working on.
Conrad i meant to add to my post a few days ago that the templates that i'm building this from are the refined templates from the new 3D model i made. So they are similar to the ones that you have, but not exactly the same, these hold much more detail.
