So, I'm going through my Onstar reference and I think I'm seeing something interesting...not to open a can of worms, but I really like to study reference to ensure I get something as accurate as I can when making a replica/model..maybe it's just me . Anyway, I think I am seeing two different mounts for the turbine blade shroud. The top bracket mount "fin" has a more raked angle to it than the other two, even elongated at the rear jutting out past the bracket, like the root of a jet fighter wing...can the resident experts confirm this???...I'm revisiting my 1/8 scale Batmobile Magic Model Company casting and want to pattern this replica accurately

Not sure what you are referring to. Both pics show the same car and were taken at the same time.

I'm sorry, didn't mean to cause confusion. I'm talking about the brackets that hold the " canister"...I've always referred to it as a turbine shroud. ..The parts that attach the cannister to the opening in the recess of the nose area...I showed these two particular photos from the Onstar film shoot because they show the rake of the fins on the bracket mounts....My observation is that the top mount has a steeper rake (angle of about 22 degrees)

Will,
If I am answering what I think you are asking - yes, the top mount (3 point mounting) of the turbine inlet must be longer than the two bottom mounts to account for the rake in the nose if you want to keep the turbine inlet plumb.
