I was able to make some more trunk vent fabrication progress today. A nice sunny afternoon calls for some fiberglass resin curing fun!
I almost completed the fiberglass portion of the fabrication, but I called it quits after a nicked my finger with the grinder. I figured it was a good time to stop before I nicked another one!

I spent about another 6 hours yesterday shaping the trunk vents so that they had a nice recessed look to them.
Thankfully I was able to finish all but two of them. Just some final 200 grit smoothing to go. Next step is adding in the mesh

I've posted up Part 1 of our Warner Brothers VIP tour covering the costumes and props.
Absolutely amazing details and incredible works of art. I was blown away by just how much attention to detail and craftsmanship goes into these pieces. Part 2 will cover the Bat-vehicles
I'm looking forward to tomorrow morning, my daughter and I are heading down to visit Matt and the Mattmobile. It will be fun to talk shop in-person with a fellow Batmobile builder!
