well those files are the rear end files of a go kart that Im building...I use a program called solidworks I plan on using a single tire on each side instead of 2...considering that its just a go kart..but Im leaving the plans open for anybody to make changes, when I first started the project I was trying to get the plans set up to the point that I could use two tires on each side but after analizing what I came up with it wouldent work for the size that I was trying to work with. For example inside distance between the two tires, the axle ,then the sprocket, and then the break and break caliper....If I would have went with the 4 tire idea I would have ended up with an area of about 15" squair to put a 13hp plus a jackshaft system ...nope... wouldent have worked so I went with a single....YOU though are building a 1/2 scale so all you would need to do (I would assume) is tack on 8" or so on to the dimentions and install a raised set up to suport the axle... the axle Im useing is a 1" x45" my total wheel base for the rear is 55" outside -outside

Im waiting for the tax return and then I can start building / all I have now is the rear end built...next is the mid section, arms and panneling.I have most of the CAD done but there is just alot of little stuff that has to be added.

hey T-Man, thanks for all the kart information, if you will, do me a favor and post anything new you might have for me in one of my build logs so as to keep Conrad's build, Conrads . Even tho he can benifit from this information as well. I just dont want people thinking that this build log suddenly shifted hands. Thanks again! Conrad, hope all is well! Hope to see/hear real soon from ya!
