Hello all- New to the forum and I am here because I am looking for a project to tackle after I get done with my 55' Chevy 210 and my '66 Chevy C-10 Step side Resto's. My name is Chris and I am 29 years old, I am currently in the US Army and have spent the last 11 years working as a Airframe Structural Mechanic and am currently stationed in Germany and I will be moving to Midwest City Oklahoma in the near future. I have been studying everyone's builds and there are some great builds going on with lots of great pictures, however what I can not seem to find is pictures of the chassis its self, 1st Question does everyone start with the body of the Tumbler then work with the frame or start with the frame and work out? 2nd Question it seems that Shaggy is the man to talk to about getting 3D renderings of the Tumbler and was wondering if he might be able to supply me with the Full size version of the renderings. I am not necessarily looking for something Street Legal.

Thanks for any help.

Chris

Yay, i was noticed. haha. I would recommend going through my 1/2 & 1/6 scale build log and look through my more recent stuff to get an idea of how the chassis was put together. As i work on the 3d model, I tend to upload more photos of the chassis.

Also, thanks for your service!!!

Thanks for the info shaggy, in the process of going through your build right now.

Was thinking on taking a whole new approach on the Frame and Cockpit and most of all the panels and making them all out of carbon fiber, kind of like the Veyron is constructed. How do you think that idea is going to work, I know it would be expensive as hell but I think it might make a little difference getting it up to speeds faster than 100 MPH.
