Hi everyone. I have been searching all over the internet on parts that could match the instruments and such on the inside of the car. My biggest is the seats. Does anyone know what kind of seats they are, where they came from or were they fabricated in the shop? Or how about the dash. I can find nothing that matches the design of the guages exactly. If anyone has any information I would greatly appreciate it.

Recaro seats from back then looked to be a good match.

Are you building your own car? If so, is accuracy on the interior a huge concern? I am going to be making mine with a custom interior, especially since nobody really sees the inside of the car. I might even do all digital gauges. Who knows? This car is not like the '66 car, where people are scrutinizing your interior left and right. I say take a little creative liberty with it. But, if you are adamant about accuracy, after November I know several people are poised to release dash kits along with the body kits.

i ahve to agree wiht thebatcave on this one. build the inside to your liking, if ur going to be driving it ull defenlty want somethign cofitable to you, for seats im going wtih these http://www.jcwhitney.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/ProductDisplay?productId=7403&catalogId=10101&storeId=10101&langId=-1&TID=100
im also go with a 5 point seat belt,as for the dash im not to sure, i like the orignal design but i dont like the curve in it, theres a monitor he cant really see and switches he cant get to. the other dash design ive been thinking about is out of the book "guide to the dark knight" http://www.unlimiteddimension.net/images/batmanm.jpg

The seats are of Recaro design, the Pontiac mid 80 seats are similar and have the same mesh headrest. The seat lowers with electric controls are exactly as the 84 Corvette. The tach and Speedo are 5”. There is a mishmash of auto, general aviation and military aircraft control panels. There is some where around five aircraft Comm. Panels throughout the cockpit. My best guess is that they thought it looked cool so they used it. Most military and civil aircraft I crewed had three comm. panels at the most, any more than is overkill.

well actually, I am transforming a 3rd generation camaro into a convertible plus redesigning the entire interior for everyone to oggle over (hopefully). I really do like the design of the dash in the batmerrbile, but accuracy is not THAT important but ya know. I like the curved appearance to give it that "customized" feel, and all those guages make it look important. but i thank you guys for your inputs.

I've thought about that but I'm not terribly sure. I'm thinking of fabricating a new dash from the existing one, and recovering it. Right now I'm on the outside of the car but when I get to the inside is where the real challenge( or fun) begins. I will have pics for anyone whose interested once I get my cam to working again.
