What is the top speed that you have driven your Tumbler and how would you describe its handling characteristics? vertigo

Hi Vertigo i have only had it up to about 30mph. It steers and feels like a normal car however with a reduced turning circle and limited vision. Its funny though i have got used to the size and judging were i am in it and quite happy to drive it up and down roads and car parks. The suspension in the front is quite stiff but the rear standard mr2 springs let the car down at the back allowing the wheels to sometimes buff the body on a really un even road which is most in northern ireland lol. It feels pretty solid though and is definitely fun to drive.

So i have had quite a number of enquiries about my car from people wanting to buy it. Now i gather some of it is probably nonsense but it got me thinking as to how you would price or value a car like this. Would there be a magic number that would make you want to sell it ? Could i sell it and finance the next build . Ideas or comments anyone has anyone every sold a tumbler ?

hey paulwayne,
A movie correct full-size Tumbler would be expected to bring greater than one million.
In the end your Tumbler is worth what someone will pay for it.
The best place to sell your Tumbler for the most money is EBay.
The best starting bid is the very minimum that you would be willing to sell your Tumbler for and not have any regrets from parting with the vehicle.
Any bidding above that will be between serious bidders.
No bidders will mean that your minimum bid is higher than what the market at that time will bear.
That will leave you with two choices: Reduce your opening bid or keep your Tumbler.
For me, at this time, I can't see myself selling my Tumbler. vertigo

Not sure if i would sell mine either just wondered because i had been asked a few times. I think the only reason i would sell it would be to fund a bvs batmobile lol. Hope my missus doesnt read this lol.

My ultimate goal is to build my timbler and 89 then build a bat cave at the end of my bar area and park them behind a big glass wall. Pretty much like a big display case. I don't think I could ever sell them but I'd make a second one to sell if it worked out.

I would say average . I know exactly were the revs etc need to be to get it moving with out being to sore on the clutch. It would struggle to do a steep hill start but i dont think the clutch was great to start of with and me doing some donuts before i stripped it probably didnt help lol. I am replacing the clutch soon with a genuine new one.
