http://www.richfieldreaper.com/news/local/article_99e9f296-0cbd-11e6-b618-531583768c6b.html The car is owned by Martin Seelos, a distant relative of Tucker. He said trailering the car to Salina was a good way to pay tribute to the young man. Seelos purchased the Batmobile during a Barrett-Jackson auction several years ago. Designed by Anton Furst for the 1989 Batman film, the Batmobile was originally built using a pair of Chevy Impala chassis. The body of the vehicle was entirely fabricated from scratch to reflect the jet fighter/muscle car look. “We changed it over so it could run on natural gas,” Seelos said. “That’s what we use it for is to promote natural gas vehicles.” Seelos owns Semi Service Inc., a shop that specializes in converting gasoline engines into natural gas. The car’s current engine came from a 2006 Corvette RIP 6-year old boy. Looks to be the natural gas powered batmobile that was seen in Utah before. http://www.chickslovethecar.com/board/Batmobile_Topic83730-4-1.aspx
