RE: New 1:18 packaging
HaHa
No.... I knew the car wasn't capable of Mach 1 in the real world, but I was looking for an indication of the cars speed in Batman's world (i.e. what did Anton think it should do) compared to the actual speedometer display in the car, and also what were the real speeds of the cars built.
Also is there anyway of bringing John Evans to this board thru your connections with the reserch you did. As he was part of Anton Furst's Build team for the Keaton Car, he would also be a great addition to help with the information that you are giving us and beyond.
Can you help?????

RE: New 1:18 packaging
Hello DAVE.
Was the trunk of the car originally designed to be openable?

RE: New 1:18 packaging
There was some trouble getting the diecast to make this area correct so that back portion is plastic, never to open...glued in place. I just followed the lines of the real car that has an access panel back there.
"Batwing ejector seat were from an old Harrier"
No, no...he didn't eject but that was what the Batwing seat was made from, a Harrier ejector seat.
I talked to John Evans years ago about this car...haven't heard from him since, sorry.
