Hey Kevin or Dave(I figured one of you would answer this question),
Does the trunk on the real car open up?
If so then where's the door to open it?

If the trunk were to open, the door would be right between the fins.

why would you need a handle? Does any car have handles on the trunk?

The trunk is operational, the fuel tank is located there and not much else. There is a wooden bulkhead that seperates the rear section from the cockpit. There is two ball lock pins at the bottom of the trunk lid that keeps it closed.
