Batmobile in Australia's Movie World

Is it a replica much like the Six Flags or one of the actual one used in either movies?

RE: Batmobile in Australia's Movie World

Baneful,

The '89 at Movie world is a replica ( at least that's what the Warners Staff have told me). It has been at the park since it was opened in the early '90's and was used in the daily parades util the forever car arrived. It has been sitting in its pictured location since about '94/95 (if memory serves me correctly). There is a picture around somewhere on the net of the 89 and forever cars together at the forever premeier at Movie world.

I am going to visit the park in a couple of weeks, as I have indicated in a previous post, I'll take as many pictures of the vehicle as I can. And I'll see if I can find someone that can give me some more info on the vehicle.

Mathew

RE: Batmobile in Australia's Movie World

Okay Mathew, we are all counting on you to get those pictures that we've never seen before. Does your camera have a close-up setting? lets see the tread pattern on the steps, let's see how the mechanics are fastened to the side, lets see what kind of material is inside the intake vents, if the mechanics are real let's see any numbers or ID tags you can find. I think you get the picture of what we're looking for...

Good luck!!

RE: Batmobile in Australia's Movie World

Mathew, I would like to see some close ups of the wheels. Especially the center caps as it appears that they have some sort of cone instead of a Bat. Also, it would be nice to know the tire sizes and manufacturer. Jack

PS don't forget to have some fun and pictures of Wonder Woman.

Don't worry guys I'm on the case.

When they photo op with B and R is on I'll try
and get some pics of the forever car's wheelie
spinners as well.
