RE: 1989 BATMOBILE REPLICA FAQ

Hey master,
can you elaborate on the hydraulics vs. air bags for lifting the car?
That would be helpful! What are the pros and cons?

HYDROLICS SUCK THEY LEAK YOU NEED 12 BATTERIES IF YOUR GONNA USE THEM MORE THAN ONCE A DAY AND PICTURE A STEEL SHAFT WHERE YOUR SHOCK WAS IMAGINE THAT RIDE...I KNOW IM IN TO LOW RIDERS AS WELL GOOD FOR HOPPING THOUGH AND THREE WHEELING BAGS ARE THE WAY TO GO IF YOU WANT A SMOOTH RYDE IMHO

RE: 1989 BATMOBILE REPLICA FAQ

I am with Mark on this one; air bags are much cheaper and much easier to install. There is a company that make a system designed for the Caprice Classic. Very little modification is needed for the install. It gives you a much smoother ride.

for the turbines....

they run on Jet "a" fuel (jet fuel) or kerosine, these two fuels are NOT the same!

A word of caution, do not buy a turbine and just think you can run one by yourself for the first time ever, you probably will destory it, and possibly you.!

By the way, I used airbags in the back and a single hydro in the front with a regulator , to raise and lower the car to a cigarette box height turned sideways. The car had to be able to raise high enough to drive back onto the trailer for loading

Thanks for posting the picture, but that came out about three or four weeks ago. Also, I know we rarely stay completely on topic, but that was really out of the blue. Don't be afraid to start a new thread.

RE: 1989 BATMOBILE REPLICA FAQ

OK. Mr Webmaster, please finish your book. I would buy it. I need a plan, like so many others. You are the one that can put the book together and myabe make a little profit on it to fund your builds. I think that would be great. You have more volunteers than you know about. Make this a project for all of us to contribute to.

I am so tempted to just build the damn thing in clay and then cast. I am working on an animatronics project right now and as soon as I finish it I start on preps for batimus mobillius

Gotta do it

To hear Mart tell it, he completed the car and returned it to it's owner?
