AB, I do understand my friend. I was always told that Florida is the Sunshine start, I just didn't know they meant "Liquid Sunshine".

RE: After Hours Club

Jack, I live in what is known in Aus and the rest of the world as the sunshine coast. Only problem is that it always seems to rain during school holidays, which leaves me entertaining my kids indoors.

As an aside anyone watching live 8? One comment - there are two well stacked brits to look out when the camera pans over the crowd... one in a union jack bikini and the other in a hot pink number!!! boy oh boy!

Lets get this party started!! We need some new pictures. Who ever gets the Special Edition Batman DVDs first needs to get a bunch of screen shots. You know me I'll watch it frame by frame (again) and fill up my hard drive with snap shots. Man I can't wait.

Some tool is hiding in our apartment complex after some highspeed chase.
Now there's helicopter hovering over the entire complex.

There goes my sleep.

RE: After Hours Club

Here's the news article.
I'm at friend's apartment.

STANTON — A parolee suspected of making death threats led police on a chase through several cities and continued to hide in a Park Plaza apartment bathroom late tonight.

Officers surrounded the apartment building, in the 8100 block of Park Plaza, in an attempt to arrest Gary Inman, who is believed to be armed. His city of residence and age were not released.

The chase began at Sugars Bar on Bolsa Avenue in Westminster. A caller reported that Inman had been making threats. An officer spotted Inman leaving the bar, recognized him as a parolee and tried to pull him over, Westminster Lt. Jack Davidson said.

"Obviously he didn¡¯t want to stop," Davidson said. "We had information he was armed with a gun."

Inman drove for five to 10 minutes through Westminster, Garden Grove and Stanton at speeds of up to 55 mph, Davidson said.

He stopped at the apartment complex and ran inside. Police detained another man, possibly Inman¡¯s brother, for questioning. , possibly Inman¡¯s brother It¡¯s unclear whether that man was in the car with Inman or was found at the apartment complex, Davidson said.

Police warned neighbors to stay inside their homes.

"In these situations a lot of people tend to come out and be lookie-loos, and a lot of time it puts them in harms way," Davidson said.

RE: After Hours Club

Here's the entire article.
It started from 10 AM and lasted till 3 AM.

Stanton man arrested after standoff
A parolee, who authorities said threatened to kill his girlfriend,
holed up in an apartment for five hours before surrendering to
deputies.

STANTON – A parolee who allegedly threatened to kill his girlfriend,
led officers on a pursuit, then holed up in a Stanton apartment
surrendered peacefully today, ending a standoff of nearly five hours,
police said.

Gary Inman, 42, of Stanton was taken into custody around 3 a.m. by
deputies of an Orange County Sheriff's Department SWAT team,
Westminster police Lt. Jack Davidson said.

Police first tried to take Inman into custody shortly after 10 p.m.
Tuesday after his girlfriend called from a Westminster bar in the 9400
block of Bolsa Avenue to report that he was threatening to kill her,
Davidson said.

As officers arrived at the bar's parking lot, Inman drove away and
then refused to pull over, Davidson said.

A chase lasting about 10 minutes ended at an apartment complex at 8100
Park Plaza in Stanton, where he abandoned the pickup truck he was
driving and ran into an apartment, Davidson said, adding the unit was
not Inman's residence.

The sheriff's department took over tactical command of the standoff
after the suspect holed up, Davidson said.

The suspect initially wasn't communicating, but early this morning
began talking to the department's negotiator, Orange County sheriff's
Lt. Hans Strand said . His surrender followed.

Davidson said the parolee reportedly threatened to shoot his
girlfriend twice yesterday and was considered armed and dangerous.

The suspect's brother met Inman in front of the apartment complex and
was detained by police after Inman ran into the building, Davidson
said. The brother was later released, he said.

Authorities did not immediately release details about Inman's criminal history.
