RE: Who?

I heard once that people consider "old" to be anything 20 years or older than their current age. I know that when I was 16, 36 definitely would have seemed old to me. When I was big Miami Vice fan (okay, I still am) I remember reading that Don Johnson was 35 or so and I could not believe he was that "old". Funny thinking about that now...

RE: Who?

"old" Depends on the person.

My ex was a 19 year old model.

All that matters is that Michael Mann is directing it.

RE: Who?

Man, Friday nights had the best TV back in 1986. "Miami Vice" followed by "Crime Story" followed by "Stingray". Anyone remember those?

Oh God yeah. It was like Saturday when u had Knight Rider followed by The A-Team and Starsky and Hutch. TV was so much cooler back in my day. All U have now is Baywatch and VIP. Ok the women are yummy but lets be honest the story lines are pants.

Baywatch and VIP are still playing over there? The problem with VIP was they were all "in on it" that it was silly and over the top, so no attempt was made to make you believe in it as a concept.
Yawn.

RE: Who?

One of the best parts of being a kid in the 60's and 70's was the new Fall TV schedule. Remember how much fun it was to anticipate the new shows? TV Guide would have a huge issue with an article on each new show and lots of photos...It sucked that summer was over and the new school year was just around the corner, but that was tempered by the excitement of new TV, especially Saturday morning cartoons. And back then, we only got 3 channels: ABC, CBS and NBC. My family didn't even get ABC! I was 7 when Batman debuted on TV and we didn't get the channel it was on! I sat in front of a snowy TV screen and listened to Batman as if it was a radio show! How times have changed...Now, we get 240 channels and there's NOTHING TO WATCH!

I'm with you buddy. When we got our 1st tv it was cool. Back then, as a kid with no value for money, I asked why couldn't we have a colour tv and i'll never forget my dad saying,"It is colour, 2 colours, Black and white"

Hmmmmmmmm

RE: Who?

Hahahaha, Dee. Too funny. I also remember when my parents were able to scrape some money together and my Dad bought a rotator for the antenna. Now, we could spin it around North, South, East and West to tweak the reception. And man, did he get pissed if one of us kids touched it! I hate to sound like an old man, but the kids today have it made!
