Tumbler Cockpit

if the entire cockpit slides backward, what's the tank like hatch for?

RE: Tumbler Cockpit

One is for the movie and the other is real life. I'd like to see if there really is a car that opens that way. Obviously they do it that way in the movie, but that could just be "movie magic".

RE: Tumbler Cockpit

There are no movie magic in Batman movies!

Next you're gonna tell us that cocoon sequence in first two movies are movie magic, too? Many different sources have told me they were indeed real.
In fact, one of the car for the cocoon sequence was built by Justin.

RE: Tumbler Cockpit

Did Justin build it or drive it? I can never remember.

RE: Tumbler Cockpit

He was only 6 at the time so his feet couldnt' have reached the pedals. So he couldn't have driven it.

But that doesn't mean he could not have built it.

RE: Tumbler Cockpit

i would imagie that the one that the cockpit slides open is used mroe for the actors, while the one with the tank like lid is used more for the stunt drivers.

RE: Tumbler Cockpit

Actually, I meant where did the jpeg itself come from. It's amazing all the great pictures that are showing up. Never had this in '89. All these people with digital cameras really makes a difference.

RE: Tumbler Cockpit

DH, Justin, and Dave need to get over there with a really good camera. Make sure you snap a few shots of the underside. GED

RE: Tumbler Cockpit

i respcet the tumbler design and i love the fucntion, and i am started to like it more and more, but its not my style, to boxy, smooth and aerodynamic is more my style.
