Headlights once & for all?

It has suddenly dawned on me.....

Someone does know what headlight would match the 89. What's the point of keeping it secret???? Isn't it better to share ?

I for one promise not to buy more than 2 (unless I go for my latest fantasy : 2 89's!!! one street legal & heavily modified & remodled AND a 1:1 screen car copy!!!)

Any thoughts people????

(I just know the "Honda Civic" has to be an INJOKE, cause I fell for it. Actually the Honda Accord's look a better match, I think)

87-91 TOYOTA CAMRY HEADLAMP

that looks like a toyota camry headlamp. The shapes looks like it would fit nice into the headlight groove.

Hey Mark,
The white powder has taken your CAPS away.

Seriously, those lights look great (they have the same pattern as the Honda Civic (88 to 90) but I dont think mine's right). Only way to find out is to try them on a body.

RE: Headlights once & for all?

what are the measurement for the light hole? Width, Length, etc.?

Hey Rusty or who ever have the kit, would you mine taking some measurements and posting it on the board?

Or could someone just flat out tell us what car exactly the lights are out of?

If you want it road legal, it has to have a turning signal.

And lots of other stuff, Keatoncar ;)

Looking at registering an "amature build" with DVLA, still working out "issues".

RE: Headlights once & for all?

Several of them would probably "work", but I'm still not sure we have the definitive answer about what the originals were from.

RE: Headlights once & for all?

If those are 97 Mirage headlights, they seem to fit fine, but obviously not the ones used on the original cars. On the Batman bonus disks one of the original build team says he was looking for the right headlamp, and on his wife's new 89 honda was where he found what he was looking for for the batmobile. Haven't stuck lights in the hole yet, but that's where that info came from.

Then again if there are "Original Barris screen used batmobiles" with 80's frames and engines, then maybe they had 97 headlights in 89.
