RE: RICHMAN BATMOBILE OWNERS
I have one. But it lives in the Bat showcase at the shop. That showcase loads from the back, so to get it out, you have to move it away from the wall.
That gives you a clue as to just how much action it's seen.
I have one of the Tumbler Tyco RC's too. The Richman's would probably make a nice jump ramp for that 1/6 Tumbler.
Anybody got one of the Cocoon cases for the thing they'd like to part with?
"Where does he get those wonderful toys?"
He MAKES them you idiot!

RE: RICHMAN BATMOBILE OWNERS
I guess so, because the Rich guys kept their money and bought an RC version, and the poor guys spent all their money on Giant fiberglass art!

RE: RICHMAN BATMOBILE OWNERS
Here's mine...I only bought the kit (that's all I want since it will only be display--I did not think it was worth the $60 to get a ready to run model--I will get a sperate radio later--easy to do). What you get...the car seal in plastic bag with R/C CarKing's instruction in an envelope to set up the batmobile to run (how to install servo motor, etc; you got that right, they included and instruction if you decide to get the kit and set itup yourself (internal consist of 540 motor and front mechanical). As for the phamplet, that 's $4.99 extra if buy kit only; ready to run model comes with phamplet.
They have about 20 ready to run model and 25 kits available. If storing, they recommend keeping the tire off the floor (tires will get flat spot on them and if tires get flat spot it will just roll off if you run the car in the future).
The story behind them acquiring all the Richman was that the shop knows Richman (that's how the shop got started). Anyway, DC license is good for only 3 years and Richman was having a hard time selling the Batmobile. After 3 years they have to paid $20,000 for 3 more years of license to produce the car. The car wasn't selling so Richman went bankrupt and the shop acquire all the available Richman. SHORT STORY.

RE: RICHMAN BATMOBILE OWNERS
Actually, the shop acquired all the Batmobile available before Richman went backrupt (not the other way around).

RE: RICHMAN BATMOBILE OWNERS
Forgot to mention...the ready to run model does not come with the original radio (the one with the ready to run model is made by hitech rc company...a better radio than the original); the car tire, motor, and front mechanical are original (it is a real Richman ).
