RE: Pants come off!

In every view I have seen of the car on DVD and on models, it appears the vents on the back are removable.

Maybe the guys with Batmobiles parked in their garages could shed some light ???

The trunk is of a two piece design, the vent are molded into each side. I don’t know why they would be separate from the trunk lid unless it was an earlier design?

RE: Pants come off!

Why? Are you taling about the parting seam from the mold or is it actually in two pieces??

RE: Pants come off!

It’s from the mold being two pieces; a mold line remains as an outline.

Jack; this picture is at least two years old.

RE: Pants come off!

Well, that's different than being in two pieces. Those are just seams for the parting lines. The vents in the picture look to have been molded separately. That could have been the way they did it for the "real" cars, at least at some point. Perhaps later, the car was molded with the deck lid as a single piece. As I understand it, molds were given to Jay, but these may not have been the original molds taken from the car sculpted by... crap, forgot his name, Charlie? I posted his name earlier, but with no search feature forget finding it.
