........REPLICA ANYTHING.....very possible

>>EDITEED OUT OF RESPECT FOR THE COMPANY<<

(this was edited as I am an idiot and did not realize some of this stuff is industry top secret Nfo...sry guys.)

--the first of its kind that I know of. They have an incredible team, CG workers, CAD drafters, artists etc. Anyway, they have some of the NICEST toys I have seen, a ***** ** generator, ** scanner, mesh polymer press, powder resin casting, you name it.

What does this mean you ask?

Anybody CAN MAKE ANY KNOB, BAT DISK, BAT ANYTHING from cast polymer or sandwich style resin (some of the process included glass).

The possibilites are ENDLESS. My first project is a batsuit. I have it all worked in CAD, I did it last night (my drop in from Maia)! Its a EXACT replica of the 89 suit, except for the boots, I didn't have time as I went to bed at 4am.
NO I WILL NOT SELL BATSUITS. I don't even know if its going to work on the suit (latex might be too soft for the press, have to do more homework, but I know the 89 side mechanics will be a breeze, the frame for my 134mm guns I can now make without CNC machining metal.....oh man, I get excited just thinking about it.

My next step is to see if they can incorporate my latex press with some of the molding "moveable!!" casts they have. (one has like * million molding pins! Its insane!

RE: HUGE HUGE NEWS, oh yes........REPLICA ANYTHING.....!

There are several parts for the 89 that I am sure many would buy new parts. Do they work in metal as well, or just glass and latex?

RE: HUGE HUGE NEWS, oh yes........REPLICA ANYTHING.....!

ok, live on Oahu,

there is some kind of liqiuid meta that is supposed to work with this in the future, I think its a alum-alloy mix, but these guys have no intention of getting inot that, =( its VERY costly.

Yes, so far they are dealing only in polymers, glass, and thanks to me latex.

yes I did the batsuit in cad, but I admit, I dropped in it from a Maia model I have been building for the CG forums. It dropped in pretty well, but he bat logo came out crazy , so I had to fix that, and some of the vector artwork for the background really screwed scales up, anyhow. Pics? well, I can drop some pics perhaps of the shaded batman from Maia, I am just getting into cad and do no know how to RIP a screen yet, (I use MX overlay on windows so "screen print doesn't work, if it ever did!LOL)

RE: HUGE HUGE NEWS, oh yes........REPLICA ANYTHING.....!

When you say latex for the batsuit, what type of latex are you refering to? Also, did you do some sort of 360 scan of your body? If not, how could you be sure it will fit? interesting.

ILOVEBATMAN well this I'll have to see to believe. Start working on the cad for the side mechanics. Oh did they tell you the size of their set-up? I think they are normally pretty small.

RE: HUGE HUGE NEWS, oh yes........REPLICA ANYTHING.....!

the setup is friggin huge, they have a 40" by 40" by 40" for the main pin guided system (glass and polymer) the ther one is also rather large, but not as big.

No, I do not know if the suit will fit me...LOL.

yea I know, I am working on pics,

oh yea one more thing, YES I understand Maya is spelled MAYA, not Maia LMAO. I was VERY tired when I typed that.

+)( =)
