Hi I L B ,

So, are you going to do a scratch build from the ground up? If so, what type of car are you using for the chassis? Are you going to go all out with the frame extensions and widening? What about the engin being dropped 6" ?

I am just curious as I am 8 months into my 89 build.

RE: Thanks for the Help.....

Well I am trying to get a body......still.

I have my parts, my turbines or the rear. I am going to do a scale build. I might go with an electric setup, don't laugh, the system I am looking at would rival a Ferrari's performance. Lithium cell setup with over 800 amps, GM frame, not sure quite yet on which one. Ideas? I could go with a full tube frame as a local speed shop here in Hawaii offered to build me one for the car!

The motor, if I go A/C will be from http://www.acpropulsion.com/

other wise 350 would be in order, as I already have a LT1 in the garage.

I have the guns from P.P.P. in Pa. Not bad at $4500 each as they WORK...muhahahaa, working out how I can make them legal (full auto's a little to much paperwork with ATF).
I have holographic emulator for the interior that will display MPH/gas tank level, oil pressure etc, its awesome. NOT stock ,but sooo cool. Bought my mech's gear for the sliding lid/canopy. That sucked as it set em back a bit.

Other then that, I am waiting to hear from someone that can get me a body. I have cash in hand hint, hint. But don't want to deal with the tools I have talked to so far (no offense tools)=).

RE: Thanks for the Help.....

oh firestone bags for a Cadillac, already ordered, I figure I will ride around with them all the way up, then drop it down when I stop, its the only way to do it, no matter how corny it looks all the way up when driving around. I am usig a Prestolite setup, Yellow Optima, splitter (isolator) and sidemount shocks for the back to help with bouncies.

'is that a word?

Hold on, maybe I misread it... Did you say you were building a scale car, but you want a replica body? Or did I misread that?

"...I am going to do a scale build." Did you mean full scale? I still don't know what you meant.

RE: Thanks for the Help.....

sounds to me like he's going 1:1 to me. usually when people say "to scale", it's 1:1

I don't have a batmobile, but I have a remote R2-D2

Post a picture of your parts, especially the turbine.

RE: Thanks for the Help.....

Hm, then it IS me that is confused. When someone says I am going to build a scale car, I think SMALLER scale. Otherwise I would have expected "full size" or something.
