I want that translucent gundoor! Seriously, that's pretty awesome. How 'bout organizing every now and again so we can tell what we're looking at!

ah, it's like a seek and find, have fun with it! Most of those parts look like '66. Rear package shelf and antenna are what I see off the bat.

So when the local kids come knocking on your door for their scavenger hunt, you'll be ready! Nice side mechanics on the other thread, btw.

A contest would be cool for something like a set of gundoors. Just make sure it's something I can win.

I am not that good at spotting things like this, but all I see is a bunch of '66 crap put on a shelf with ONE '89 gundoor thrown in to be casually found by us here on the board. I thought you had more parts to the '89 on your shelf? C'mon Mark - you know I'M gonna give you a hard time! Show us the REAL parts shelf!

There is a few wheel cap covers two gun doors and two round exciter covers and that is about all I can see, the rest is all 66 stuff.

And the question was?....

How much does a 1989 batmobile replica cost?

Jack: Awesome. Care to share where you are going to get your parts?

Mark: OFF THE SELF IN MY SHOPPE WHY WHATCHA NEED?

Jack: So what about the front inlet (blades and such), Exhaust tips, Turbine, Machine guns, headlights, aircraft throttle. You know everything that everyone has asked about in the last year. You know I love to see pictures. I would like to see your front intake set-up with the spinning blades. Thanks.

That would be nice to hear it once and for all. We know that a '89 turnkey from Mark is $89K. Can I assume that a '66 is $66K? If so, maybe I need to build one too. Seriously, how much for the '89 kit that was talked about in the "You wanted the best" thread or whatever it was called?

RE: PARTS SHELF FOR JACK

That is swell... Can we see pics of your kits? I have seen lots of turnkeys, and they all look awesome. But I recall on Eric's board quite some time ago (right after Duog introduced his $6,500 kit) that you were offering your '66 "kit" for the ridiculously low price of $5,000. However, when everyone got all worked up in a frenzy and started asking questions and demanding pictures and more information, you guys stopped replying. To this day I have not seen a kit. I am not saying you can't make one, I am just recalling the course of the past year, and pointing out that it seems to be repeating itself.

Now, IF you can verify this '89 kit exists, then that is a fair price to be asking!

Unfortunately, most of the questions that were asked are missing because it was before the big crash on all the EZ boards.

Holy Bodies Batman
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
-
Mark is crazy...He is offering The complete Bob Butts body (ONLY) w/ the
addition of headlight divots FOR THE INSANE PRICE OF $5500 (Smooth as glass
baby) Just in time for Halloween

Justin, that deal ran for 14 days, and it was just for a body no kit.
When people called me I answered all question as I always do,
nobody came up with the money.

Mark was asked on the 66 board to show pics of his molds, and he refused to
show them.
Obviously, he has them. He has produced several cars already!
Mark will not jump through hoops for anyone, for for any reason.
Why should he?
If he says there are molds there are, simple as that.

So far Mark's track record of being questioned, "Do you really have
that????"....(even though he takes his sweet ass time) about it
He has always proved in the end, that he is right!
(The Client list is long)
Justin, if you want a kit, just call me.

RE: PARTS SHELF FOR JACK

Kory - which cars were made from Mark's bodies? I know Chris brought in his own body, Nate brought in his own, but I don't know about Angelo, Joey, etc. Which one(s) were Mark's? It would be cool to see if his 'molds' have any variations or anything from other molds. Any identifiable factors, if you will.

PS - Don't take this the wrong way, but asking to see pictures for verification is not asking you to 'jump through hoops'. It is saying that most of us here require more than just your word to trust you these days. Of course, Mark DID come up with proof of the side mechanics, and I gave him props for that. They are not that bad for a first attempt. However, you keep saying Mark has proved everything he claimed, and I have not seen a turnkey built by him, or even one in a respectable stage of developement, or the turbine intake pieces, or any of the other things you guys have spoken about. None of us here have problem giving credit where credit is due. Much credit for the side mechanics!
