DH, you're right we are seeing things. We are seeing that the tire is not touching!

It is touching the ground.
Just check your DVD.
Besides it's not even near the vicinity of that rotating scene.
Also, they rigged the batmobile with hydraulics 3 feet in diameter. I doubt they did that on a working car.

You really shouldn't believe everything you read in those magazines. Next you'll think it really had a jet engine and would go 600 mph.

No I don't belive it can go 600 mph.
But I do believe there is a special comparment hidden under the car when accessed remotely cause the car to be protected by cocoon shield.

Looks like the shadow beneath the tire is consistent with a 'raised' tire,
in reality who knows what they were actually doing with that paricular car at that given time, maybe it was on a dolly and they were pulling it or whatever.
I think Justin was under there jackin' the thing up lookin' for clues on what does what.
( some of us old guys can still see pretty good:)

Another unseen photo!
Yes, the wheels are touching the ground. Get off your high horses and look at it closely. You know who YOU are.

Is it just the reflection from the "brake cooler inlets"? I think so.

That's not the same car as the pic above is it? The front bonet and body are one piece and this one had the jet engine coming out the front right?

The door appears to have been glassed over; there is only a faint outline where the door use to be. When they repainted the car gunmetal grey it helped to hide the door even more, notice no definition of an edge.
