You can keep the flame suppressors, those are for kids! But they look good under the tree!
:)
"I will tell you how to mount them in the car." First you buy them a drink, then say, "ever been inside a batmobile?"

Yep we got some good guys with the newest group.

I'm just glad Batgod cut me a deal on his $1K of secreats. Everything I wanted to know. Heck I probably saved that much on the price of my guns, throttle, taillights, intake, and aaaaaa side mechanics. Thanks Batgod.

RE: machine guns

The more I think about it, the builders weaseled out! It needs a left handed version on the drivers side. The spent case in the canopy track is a good point, cases bouncing off the windows. If they had time to engineer a car that turns into a missle, they could have belt fed from the other side, and while they were at it removed the "handgrips" that would never be used on the back!!!
Lazy Brits!

You're just upset because all the 66 had was a saw blade.

...and an ejector seat. They would have added one to the '89 but they were afraid it would go off with the canopy closed and well, that would really make a mess.

and rockets, and a bat beam, and ejector seats, smoke screens in designer colors, bat mortar, inflatable decoy, remote control homing driving, reel to reel technology, and forget onstar, it had Alfred!

I guess the 89 does have cool stuff, like "clown trippers?" "Frisbee tossers?" I KEEEED! I KEEED!

Not when they're pointed at you.

I'm really impressed with your '66, Nate. Justin shared some pictures and video with us back when he visited you. The attention to detail just seems awesome. I have yet to see an '89 built to that quality including the originals (except for the way they looked in the films)

RE: machine guns

Believe it or not, it is possible to talk out a car! Since I have been hobby researching the 66 since the mid 80's, there is not much left to know, so now I am applying my "amazing detail vision" to the Keaton car. I should be caught up on the batmobiles by the time I die.
Actually, the gun doors blasting off ALWAYS annoyed me, (just bad design by wayne tec) and the fact that Batman had guns at all was in my mind a big NO NO.

in the first film we see them pop up, then we see inside the ajaxs factory, and they apparently can go up and in to the center, shoot left and right, and then down to the floor, to cut that door opening. That would take either two hands or an amazing targeting system.
The bomb drops right next to the car, why? couldn't it at least shoot it a few feet away from the wheels?
I know, it's just a movie, but this stuff is just common sense.

RE: machine guns

I thought the guns just shot from side to side until they reached the part where the garage door meets the wall and then it just fell over. I have to look again, but I don't remember them shooting to the ground. As for the bomb landing close by,it did extend a few inches from the car before letting out...besides thats what the shields are for. I always excused the scene because I figured the car was bulletproof, but not bomb-proof without the sheilds.

RE: machine guns

Machine gun update:
Shells from a 1919a30-6 machine gun drop out the bottom of the gun, and don't shoot out in an arc so that solves the flying shell problem if they just drop back into the car. The left handed gun would make the car more symmetrical in my mind though.
Still thinking out the targeting system. It should be able to track not just left and right, up and down, but also distance. So if a target was 50 or 100 yards away, you could get a bullseye on either, and the guns should track. Of course you need tracer ammo to see what you are doing every 3rd to 5th shot. But then the guns moving left and right shooting at the same time? Unless you are trying to clear a crowd, not much use as you can only track one with your eyes. and if you wanted to clear a crowd, a simple sweep with the guns pointed forward should do it anyway.
If you wanted to shoot "designs" like rectangles it would be better done with one gun.
(over thinking cap now blinking red...)

Well, Jack wanted one for his new son,
so Tim, did you have a baby? Do you want a 1:4 scale photo?
:)
I am putting together a Christmas pack for you Jack,
so I will let you know when it gets in the mail!
nate
Me infront of a batmobile is even more annoying than a hot chick standing in front of a batmobile. Stand BEHIND the car please. I am trying to see the batdisk doors....

I will be having a photo signing session in the cave, and Burt Ward's gopher boy Andrew is only charging $500 a photo. Please don't look me in the eye or speak to me directly, and have your cash handy.
