Deathmatch: Batmobile vs. Batmobile vs. Batmobile vs. Batmobile

I've been thinking about this for awhile....if there was some way where all four movie-batmobiles could converge and unleash hell on one another, who would emerge champion?

I can already figure that the Clooney and Kilmermobile would be toast, so that would only leave the Tumbler and the Keatonmobile.

I dunno, what do you guys think?

What about the 66 with its rugged good looks and steel frame. I'm sure its rocket launchers and bat-laser would take out all before it!

Bring it on!

Cheers from down here!

My dear Kevin,

Based on the vehicles all being fictional and having fictional weapon functions then the 66 would win, as the other BM's just wouldn't cut it.

Kinda would be like one of your NFL forwards up against one of our Rugby lads. No contest!

Cheers from down here!

Oh and no crack pipes needed!

I believe Kevin's comment was intended for the guy who asked the question in the first place.

RE: Deathmatch: Batmobile vs. Batmobile vs. Batmobile vs. Batmobile

I guess we would need more information on the strength of the 66's "lazers" (and why did George spell it with a 'z'?) vs. the 89's Browning machine guns and bomblets vs. the Tumbler's missiles.

This is all fictional, of course, but I'd put my money on the Tumbler's missiles. Unless of course, the 66's lazers had the 'Star Wars' capability to knock missiles out of the air. Unfortunately, that technology didn't exist in 1966. And please remind me what the bat-ray was supposed to do. Was that like a stun from a Star Trek phaser?

But if we are trying to achieve continuity, with the Tumbler being the first bat car, you would think that it would have the most obsolete technology and the car's weapons would improve after each new generation of vehicle. So Batman chooses to start with missiles, adapt to lazers, then evolve to 1940's-era machine guns???

I'd feel more powerful with missile launchers over machine guns any day.

Feel free to correct any mistatements in the above. I love a good argument...

The question is just so cliche, I almost thought you were kidding.

Put away your Dungeons & Dragons, move out of your mom's basement and try to meet a girl (a real one; no internet!) and stop playing with your Star Wars figures, you are NOT a Jedi.

RE: Deathmatch: Batmobile vs. Batmobile vs. Batmobile vs. Batmobile

Wow...how completely original of a response.

First of all, this thread was started in the interest of a "What if?" debate. I mean, considering that most of the individuals on here have the imagination to at least build the car, why not speculate on the possibilities of "If it were real, whose ass would it be kicking?". I for one would be interested in hearing the opinions of those who think the Keatonmobile could kick the Tumbler's ass, etc., etc., etc.

Second, your assumption that I live in my parent's basement, play dungeons & dragons, and have no woman, is purely a poor and generally stereotyped assumption. I have a woman, whom I have been married to for the past two years, happily living on my own, having never touched an RPG because I prefer to actually go out and live life. Now, I can just as easily make the same kind of empty, stereotypical assumptions about you, but it just adds fuel to the fire, and for the biggest reason of all, I simply do not know you, and you do not know me.

Finally, it appears that this was the wrong place to even start this kind of debate, judging from the recent posts made to either increase post count (like most of you need it, anyway), or to simply flame me for trying to start a freaking stupid debate that would require, heaven forbid, to indulge in some kind of irrational thought about four fictional vehicles.

So there you have it. I am being too literal and too anal, yes. But perhaps it's just me and my not grasping why I check this thread and responses like " " or "get out of your mom's basement!!", or "lay off the crack pipe" comprise 90% of the replies.

Just trying to have some fun, you guys....Christ.

ok. people. Stop now. Jimmy is just Jimmy, and as far as the topic goes, it wasn't bad or anything. If you'll read the old threads you'll actually see that everyone has given their opinion on this before. I don't know why it was met with such censure this time, but that's life.

Okay, you're right, I'm sorry.

Who do you think would win in a fight, Spongebob or Patrick?

If it's St. Patrick i'm gonna have to put my money on him. And seeing as he drove all the snakes out of Ireland into the sea...Where Bob lives...My guess is Bob would know better than to mess with Paddy.

RE: Deathmatch: Batmobile vs. Batmobile vs. Batmobile vs. Batmobile

who's behind the wheel of the cars?? 66 car with all it's Bat-tastic toys, wouldn't get involved for fear of injuring innocent citizens of Gotham, old chum. B&R car would high tail it up a brightly colored wall with that nifty grappling hook is has. Forever car wouldn't do much either, because the driver and sidekick would be having a slapifight over which button to press and whose cod piece is bigger. So I guess it's down to the '89/Returns and Begins car. Browning machine guns with no way to aim other than pointing the nose of the car at the target, frisbee thrower and Clown catcher. Don't forget the bombs. Am I missing anything there? VERSUS a military vehicle with all the armament of an Apache attack copter. I have to go with the Begins car. As I see it, all that has to happen is the 89 gets turned on it's side due to it's poor handling characteristics, then one good shot to the undercarriage and all is over. 'cause if the driver can knock a hole in the floorboard with his fist, a well placed missle will obliterate it. And apparently, the plans are freely available over the internet(s) to villans and the like.

How the F*** does Spongebob make crabby patties under an ocean? (OK sea). The bloody grill is never going to work under even an inch of water.

Also why do people point to empty chairs and ask if anyone is "sitting there?" When you are walking backwards and waving to your friend goodbye, why do you always turn at the exact second you hit the lamp-post? Then, when the blood is pouring from your head, why does someone ask if you are "OK?"

Probably the same reason we ask people who are vommiting, "are you alright?" Or, who is the most powerfull Jedi? What would happen if superman got the SH***s, and what it would be like to drive your own 89.

I like to dream (and sometimes talk Sh***.)

Well, Loneknight, I am all about having fun. I have always been and always will be a huge fan of the 89. I wasn't too fond of the Tumbler, I guess it's because I always had the image of the batmobile being a car, rather than an UAV (Urban Assault Vehicle) even though it would be sick if he had an RV like the one from Stripes. Besides, like everyone else is pitching here, these are fictional cars so it could be an endless debate, much like who would win in Superman vs. Batman (the latter obviously b/c Batman has everything in his belt, including Kryptonite which would put an end to Superman's party). We know that the Keaton is pretty much indestructible by conventional means, so maybe it's some type of space age titanium alloy like the beer keg from National Security, or Adamantium which would be awesome. After all, it withstood an explosion point blank. The Kilmer car was toast to some home made Riddler bombs so it's a loser. The B&R Roadster leaves the driver vulnerable to attack, as does the Barris car. So it's really down to the Keaton & the Tumbler, and it would probably result in a stalemate due to the Keaton's durability and the Tumbler's maneuverability. But I am going to stay loyal to my favorite car, the Keaton car.

The Kilmer and the Clooney cars are just too ugly and don't care for them. Sorry to all you Kilmer and Clooney car fans that's just what I think so please do not send me any hate mail.

As for the Keaton car and the Tumbler, those are two cars that I could not stand to see attacking each other. My goodness, what a sad sight to see either one of those cars get thrashed. I love em' both. My greater luv is the Tumbler but my first luv is the Keaton car.

Since I posted here then; I don't rember the Kilmer and Clooney cars and what they can do. I do remeber the Clooney car having that "clockwork" of instrumentation that was confusing but good for the big screen. The Kilmer, I thought it was good of the riddler to rid the world of that so nuff' said.

The Keaton car against the Tumbler would be a good match. The Tumbler can drive over the Keaton car all day but the Keaton can shoot the Tumbler's tires because of their vulnerbility(maybe they are runflats) The Tumbler can shoot as well so it would be own to the who shoot first. So this will be wait and see...

Even though I didn't like it at first, I like the Rugged looks of that Tumbler. Its definitely a "Love it or Hate it" look'n car.
