Maybe it's just the shadow, but the round part of the mechanics that stands seperate is chromish in the 2nd pic, but looks painted in the 3rd as it on some cars. What is that bit behind the disc door pivot, in the first pic? Looks like you can see through the right hand side of the door! Also I notice that the cannopy glass is curved, riveted in place and the car has those 2 antenna (Loony Tunes) sticking up from the top. It also has the brass plate on the side mechanics we all wanted a closer look at. Gun doors are definatly cut out in the first pic, but don't seem to be in the last? (Mr A wants to get this one )

Seriously, if its not the fact that the whole car is painted except for the wheel bat hubs and side mechanics.....? Or that some vandal (Not you Jack?) has broken the disc-doors...? Is it ANYTHING to do with the side-mechanic's DH?
