Knowing how MW operate down here it wouldn't surprise if the tumbler appeared pretty soon as the star car.

The batman character that appears around the park is now dressed in the begins costume, which is pretty funny. MW is being sold as the home of the justice league. Batman looks funny in this costume when standing with his other cartoon colleagues!!

How'bout this one, Jack?

George Barris Star Cars Museum

www.starcarstn.com

1989 Batmobile Jay Ohrberg/Butts Car

1995 Batmobile (?)

Huge Batman props display

Same people run it as Guinness. They had a few Batmobiles and Batcycles over the years from Butts, but moved them between his museums in LA, Atlanta and Daytona Beach.

DooHee
Can you get any pics of the 89 cut away cockpit at Star Cars Museum
In Gatlinburg. Its a great piece but some one stuck a goofy 66 bat steering wheel on the display .

Too cool lets add it to the list.

Hey Nitro we need some good pictures of the Returns car near you, the one with the flip-flop paint. I know you've seen it but now you have a nice digital camera. So you need to go back and get a whole bunch of pictures. Please......

Jack, if it wasn't for the bombs, we were going to England to see the real 89.I have been told that is where it resides.

OMG. I've not seen that before. What king of Jack-ass would put that steering wheel and those lights on it? Looks like someone beat me to the radio. That is definitely the dash as seen in the movie. I think I will go see it this weekend. Why hasn't someone posted that picture before? Nitro!!!

Weren't they the ones used by Keaton when he does the car rotating scene.

Wow, that screen in the cockpit looks very deteriorated... It was not like that back when I saw the car. As some of you know, I lived in TN for awhile with my old man. (Pidgeon Forge, but worked in Gatlinburg) Since my dad worked for the Guiness World of Records museum, which Charlie Moore owns, I was able to go to Guiness, Ripleys AND Star Cars as much as I wanted for free. It was awesome. I used to spend ALL my time in the Batman exhibits at the Star Cars and Guiness. If I can ever get my dad to send me the pics, we took some with me sitting in the '66 Batmobile at Guinness, and next to that cockpit cutaway at Star Cars. It is a real shame what they have done to it though... It had the lights and steering wheel even back then, and this was at LEAST 7 years ago.

You should see my OTHER car. Its a scooter.

Hey Tim, think you can make a trip to Gatlinburg sometime soon? You can check out the museum, and I will get you hooked up with tickets to the Sweet Fanny Adams live theatre comedy/burlesque show right up the street. Hell, maybe I will even fly out there and meet you! I need an excuse to visit dad, anyways.

Is the small screen broken b/c that's where Keaton jammed his fist?

So this definitely is the car used in returns movie?

So Nitro and Kevin, I'm sure you guys could tell us a lot more about that interior, can't you? Let me see if I have this correct $5000?

RE: Visit the Batmobile

I was told by several people this is one of two .The other is in England. From what i was told by some guys in the know including Kevin this was at Barris shop not sure but maybe even was stored at Butts shop for a while and sold pretty resonable. I think Kevin had a chance to buy it. Since Star cars keeps adding so many cars I asked if they would sell for $5000. I thought they were acutally cosidering it for a while, but they later told me they would sell it at auction if and when they ever do decide to sell.

FYI, 89 from Cars of the Stars is located in Edinburgh, Scotland NOT Keswick, England. The 66 & Kilmer cars are in Keswick.
