| Nice find Mr Pennyworth.http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Z4PhrLrZ6vs I had to add adobe flash 8 but link works now. Wow I wonder if that Dave Regan still works for WB . So the car was built in 1986 . Car has Oldsmobile 400 big block motor. Hot Air balloon was used for After burner. Halon fire system was used to take all the oxygen out of the car if there was a problem with the gas or fire from the afterburner. Car used Hydraulics for Canopy and rasing and lowering car up to 8 inches. Also used hydraulics for machine guns. Most of the gauges did not work only cosmetic oil pressure and water temp did work.

| Soon after the release of the 89 movie, I recall hearing that 2 hero cars were made, one was damaged beyond repair during filming and disassembled. As I recall it was an interview with the stunt driver on a TV show.

There has always been at least 2 hero cars at WB, that is not counting all the returns variations.
