New Comment Added at: Tumbler.aspx By: viper blade From: 75.129.48.231 Comment: I kind of question how this would do off road. If our military had this it would still be at home. It would cook them. Hummer tires come alot cheaper then the 4 rear wheels too.

| I'm not home, but I have a popular mech. mag with a camo tumbler look alike on the cover only with a turrant and is unmanned. Same styling and it came out before the tumbler. It is not in production. As soon as I get back home I will scan the cover and story. I have always questioned the designers comments on what inspired him. Based on this photo of a real vehicle prior to the tumbler, I have to think he or someone near saw this and was in fact the basis for his design. Anyone else see this cover????

New Comment Added at: Tumbler.aspx By: Tom From: 71.51.77.57 Comment: Considering that when they tested it, it turned out that it could survive jumps and be able to actually climb over and crush cars, I think it would be a great off road driver.

| Hey Admin, just my two cents but with the Tumbler having such a unique front end I feel the stress put on it during jumping and off-road would be too much. If you look at sand rails which do an excellent job jumping they are usually light weight with long travel control arms to absorbe the shock of a jump.......Great off-road baja buggies and super trucks are again high powered light weight with a lot of travel.....Rock crawlers are heavy duty low geared and four wheel drive....To me the Tumbler is like a heavy duty street or dirt road vehicle but with the dually rear end its like a dump truck......The front reminds me of a tractor front end........I think it would be good for plowing....hahaha.....just my opinion.....Dave
