I am new to the whole batmobile message board world, and I have been reading your site for a few months now, what I don't understand is why your pushing the builders away!! how many builders are left here that are building the '89? maybe 2? think about it first mark & kory, then don c and now paul, who's next? hines? maybe you should promote builders instead of banning them, just a though. the whole bat world would be better off if everone could get along, and stop bashing each other.

| I have to agree with that last post. I think it's sad folks just can get along. I used to try to smooth things over but even I have lost that desire. To be fair as best as I remember it Kory was banned for trashing Don, Don asked to be removed, now the issues with Batgod as far as I know Mark was never banned. It seems to me that the big problem is that "builders" start wars with other "Builders" and then they recrute "team" members that take sides. One builder's team against the others. I guess it has to do with the money, greed, pride, "honor" or whatever. Basicly they all trash each other in an effort to get the all mighty dollar. Even the ones that seem to be pals talk bad about each other behind the others back in emails and phone conversations.

Well said, Jack! In fact, it might be worth it for me to scrape up the DOZENS of e-mails I have, collectively, from  Don Currie , Paul Sher, Kory G, and a few other "builders" who have trashed their "friends" left and right. Maybe these drive-by commentators (or "builder" in disguise?) would have a slightly clearer image, if they actually knew the full stories behind this nonsense. For that matter, if someone has been "reading this site for months", they should have NO problem seeing who the real instigators are. If they cannot see these idiots' egos, arrogance and downright rude behavior, then they are not very astute. In fact, I would add that, if they have such a hard on for these arrogant pricks, then they should give them all a call and establish a friendship with them! Hell, I will give you all their numbers, if you'd like.... Give them all a call - they will be your best friend for, who knows, a year or more? THEN you will get screwed, and THEN you will understand. Until then, please stop talking.
Of course, I am wasting my breath, because we all know that a normal person would not read the entire history of events on this site, and then claim that WE are "pushing builders away". It was probably made by the same idiot who has been having an in-depth "interview" with himself, after a "lengthy search" for "true" Batmobile builders (which is funny, because he also claimed, in that SAME interview, that he wold never sell kits or turnkeys of the '89).

BTW - Can we add up how many people, on OUR boards, are actually building a full turnkey, as well as your's and Rusty's FINISHED cars? What does this guy mean, only 2 people are left building cars?

We only banned Kory and DonC(and their cohorts who come back later to bitch about it). Kory for starting a builders flame war with Don Currie . Currie at his own and Batgod's requests. The site doesn't make money off of any particular builders. But why should the site promote any builders who constantly spam the board and its members?

| I'm not sure if its all about the money as Jack says. Its hard to have any group of individuals get along for any period of time. Especially a bunch of ego driven guys. We all have different levels of self esteem and that coupled with a forum where you can only communicate through writing, its easy to have miscommunication. Miscommunications turn into insults, insults generate anger and then you got a war... Many of us have lives, jobs, relationships that are on a higher priority scale than a Batmobile site......But for a few this is their life....And so innocently pointing out a dip in their 89 body becomes a gigantic insult. Well it was not the dip or how it was said that was the problem the war was inevitable because the person got all the information he needed. And so he's gone..... There is a definite clique of guys on this site and its hard to get in...But to survive in this internet age you have to adapt and be more accepting of other's differences. To just keep writing these guys off as nuts will potentially hurt this site....You not only lose a builder you create an enemy...I'm not sure what the answer is but its not this........Just my humble opinion.....BWD
