| I tend to agree with Rusty especially with having my kids with me at the show....It does reflect the way things are now, in that there never seems to be a clear right and wrong. Many things in life are questioned. Is a hero really a hero to everyone? Would you save the one you loved or the person of importance....Is it ok to beat the crap out of a suspect to save many? How do you negotiate with someone with a different set of values.....I especially was disappointed with them trying to keep Harvey Dent's image of a good man intact and Batman becomes the guy running from the law...Just give me the truth.....The Joker stole the show......Trying to figure out what motivated him....what was his value system.....The prisoner who threw the detonator out he window touched me as well as the other guy who thought it was so easy to push the button then couldn't do it.....This will be a movie that will cause me to think about it for days to come....Loved the Tumbler scenes and Batpod turn around on the wall scene. I think the movie will become more appreciated the more we dwell on it....I give it a two thumbs up.......Epic....Just my humble opinion ...BWD

| Just saw it for a second time. Hate Bale as Batman. Well hate him pretty much every time he opens his mouth... Did you notice how many things were like the Burton movies? Love how the Batpod worked for the Tumbler like the Batmissle did for the Keaton car. Only the Batpod actually works...

| Everyone's going for repeat viewings. This movie is like men's Titanic.

Jack (7/23/2008)
Did you notice how many things were like the Burton movies? Joker addressing the Gang Leaders and killing one The Tumbler driving itself Joker falling down (albeit being caught by Batman) Joker just standing there wanting Batman to kill him, but Batman fails Also, I may be recalling not seeing one, but I think this is the first Batman movie (not counting the 66) where there isn't a suiting up montage. Maybe Bruce Wayne is retiring his suit after this film, only to find in the next film (which is set in the future) that the city still needs him but he's too old. Enter: Terry McGinnis. I think that'd be sweet Something else I think would be cool after watching 89 last night. Make a Batman film where it's not focused on Batman OR Bruce Wayne, but rather told from a civilian's POV or a criminal's POV. Where Batman retains that aura of mystery that he had during the first half of 89 when he just showed up unexpectedly! I tried imagining the movie not being about him, and having no knowledge of the Bruce Wayne/Batman connection, and it worked. I think Joker or Two Face have enough character value to see a movie about their background. And if Mr. Freeze is in the next film I'm going to hurt Nolan.

hey Other justin,
I agree...a different vantage point would be pretty cool. And please...NO ridiculous criminals like freeze.
Doo Hee, you're quite the Brave one posting that.
Jack, i think the voice could be toned down a bit, but I do like Bale.
...does it come in black?
