I'll be takeing cues for the brackets from your build but I think any big part I want powder coated I'll paint with a bed liner material for cost reasons. And of course I'll be posting progress as money permits

| Hey Chilebean, if you need some close-up pics or a cardboard mock-ups of the brackets let me know...I can do cardboard......After the axle was fab'd up the powdercoating was $200. Phil said it took a lot of time in the oven since it was so massive......But the coating will be very durable and it looks purdy......So if your going to powdercoat remember it has to be completely stripped down and chemical bath cleaned.....BWD

| thanks for the offer BWD! not sure exactly what I'm gonna have questions about. I may be asking you to ask Don about my structure when I get to that point. I've changed direction a bit so it won't be like my 3D frame. I have secured my donor vehicle and plan to get it to my house by the end of summer. YAY

| so some of you may remember me asking about what foam can be glass directly over. Well I've been messing with this here and there for a while now, it's not quite done but I thought I'd post my progress. I was starting to go a little crazy so I spent a couple of hours this weekend working on my bat stuff

| I used the "great stuff" foam in these which was a pain in the ass. I hope the bigger bubbles in the foam dont cause trouble with the glass, I tried to fill them in. And of course after I glassed them up my wife had to get some polyurethane foam for a job. So next time I'll use that Oh and the masking tape was just to hold the tubes until the epoxy set up.

oh and I tried a homemade vacumme bag with these, it worked decently well.

| and final I got a few parts ready to cover with fleece and resin to become molds.... only took one roll of tape
