ok, I unfolded the rest of the panels. And built what I had out of paper just to be sure. It fits pretty well, nothing that will be hard to adjust at full scale.

this is pretty exciting for me because this will be the first 3D model of mine that is turning into something tangible.

Holy Bat crap that is the coolest thing I've seen in a while. I didn't realize it was big  until I say the boxes. When your done with it and start building your metal one can I have it? Just kidding....No really can I have it......Very cool Chilebean.... It makes me wish I had skills....BWD

BWD, you can have it if you want it but its kind of filmsy. I just used regular paper. 

I borrowed an overhead projector to transfer all the panels to cardboard but after about 15min of adjusting and measuring the image was still too distorted for me to alow. Maybe if you had a clear wall in a large enough room where you could get more than 8' away it would be better. So I'm using the slower grid method to transfer.

They do make "trace projectors" that should work better.

Hey man, I keep looking at your paper model and loving it.  I just need to ask...how did you get the body into the 3d App? did you hand draw it? Was it scanned in? Once this body is digitized, so much can be done. I just wonder how you got it that way.
