Thanks Dee!

We're looking forward to the finished pics too.

Sorry I didn't post last night guys. Was busy glassin up the #2 car. (The client has ordered this one finished in the infamous "Bat Fuzz"... that's gonna be cool! THAT is the 66 of my childhood. I don't know if I can talk him into those horrid Keystone Nugget wheels with the pink center caps though... but I'll try)

Here's the pic I promised the other night...

We're DRIVEABLE!!!!!!

Here's one for Don (Dude. Here's my design for using the stock hinges. Works just fine. Thanks!)

Have a great weekend guys!

You certainly do crank the work out when needed, from what you have told me in the past and on your website you get a lot of deadline crunch builds.

Not sure if you remember me or not, but we used to correspond alot about 6 years ago on the bttf board about DeLoreans.

Hey Tom,

Sure I remember you. GREAT WORK on the Delorean! It's coming along nicely.

Yes, I like pressure, I LOVE quick builds and I really like taking the jobs that others turn down because "they can't be done".

That's why I take jobs on BTTF cars that have been "discovered in the woods"

and do the work "on location" anywhere and everywhere

Even when the car changes owners 5 times in the middle of the build

I enjoy traveling to all the locations to deliver the cars

and helping them set up the displays

I'm a big fan of the Delorean too as you can see. And I'd love to have the time to take months to make one, just like you...

But I'm the guy people call when they ABSOLUTELY HAVE TO HAVE A BTTF DELOREAN IN

3 DAYS!!!!

If this car had actual PAINT on it, it would have been wet when it was shipped overseas. We completed the entire job in 2 days using only what could be bought at Walmart and Home Depot on the first night of the build, plus what we had in the shop and could fabricate quickly out of metal.

We didn't even have time for build photos or a completion photo shoot. So the wife hopped in the truck with me and we convinced customs to let us do the shoot AFTER the car was inspected and cleared to be loaded on the ship

The customs guys LOVED that. But the final results were good for a 2 day build.

And I'm a big fan of doing all kinds of different builds

(OK... so SOME builds are so fun you want to build more than one)

Sorry for going off topic DH. But I AM gonna do the MT pose on the roof of the 66 very soon, so THAT will put us back on track.

How about I bring us back to focus with a pic of some new shoes for the 89?

OK?

ENJOY!!!
