Just curious, how much has this project set you back so far?   and how much time do you think you have in it?

I have probably around 6k in it.  alot of the stuff I got at surplus shops, and even the auto shop I manage has an upstairs filled with old hoses and braided lines, etc.  Some stuff I bought build by other collectors/builders.  Some stuff are kit pieces like the flux boxes.  I started my build in mid December , been working on it mostly on weekends. So a few months.

Yep.. I always can't wait for Friday to roll around because I plan the work I want to get done over the weekend.  This week the rear deck should be done   I just found some more parts that I am going to install.  Some stuff that was never on the originals, but I think will look cool and "should" be there   Pictures will follow..

I wonder what my next project might be... maybe I'll have to convert my lotus into the submarine

Did some more work on the back deck, all the main pieces are bolted down. Anyway it is 95% done now, just need to make the panel for the Mr. Fusion to stand on, and do some wiring details. I threw in some extra fun stuff, and some warning labels from Ghostbuster circles.

Now this is what the Part 3 original deck looked like, some differences, but this has been my main inspiration.

You know with all those hose's running all over the place, i would get so confused.   Patience is a gift, and you definatly got it my friend.

95% done!   i wanna see that thing fire up, and take off JUST like the movie, with the disappearing and the flames, and the white haired insane dude too! lol jk
