Hello all, new poster here. A huge fan of Batman and Back to the Future. I have a large Batman comic collection and a few props, not as many as I do for Back to the Future. I've been working on converting my DeLorean into a time machine. Gotten some of the details put on. This website has been a great inspiration for my own project. Hope you enjoy. My goal is to have it ready for a large DeLorean show in July.

I'll keep everyone posted as I go. Have to say the biggest pain is conduit bending!

Hi Rusty,
The brackets and a few of the items that aren't "found" items I got from a friend of mine who runs a bttf website. He even has castings off of the flux boxes that go on the corners (which I am painting right now). I tried to email through the website here but I guess since I am so new it won't allow me to. Send me an email and I'll point you in the right direction. I am going for a film accurate look, however I am changing a few things (like adding a few little things here and there and small little details).
I love all the work you guys do! I still remember standing next to an '89 Batmobile in Nov. of 1989 at a car shown in Allentown PA. They had one of the Barris Batmobiles there too (I think it was number 2 according to 1966batmobile.com). The 89 Batmobile is my favorite of the Batmobiles. I have some photos of it around here somewhere, I remember it had a multi paint effect to it (like in some photos and light it had different shades to it). The mechanics on the bottom sides were metal items. It was cool. However since I sat in one of BTTF replicas Jay O. built for Universal in 1991, I have dreamed of owning a DMC time machine.

| Hey Bttflotus, Love your build. I had seen a BTTF car at Universal Studios in Orlando but yours seems to be so detailed. Maybe because the U S one was sitting outside. I use to have a Delorean but I had it painted Midnight Blue a Mercedes color and I really loved that car. After I had my first son it was so impractical for a growing family and I sold it to a guy who was going to ship it to Sweden. One of those deals where I wished I still owned it. Please continue to post. Even though I building a Batmobile I'm still a Gearhead and love all that mechanical stuff. Thanks for posting, BWD
