Quote from the builder

any way the tumbler is best known to me as the stumbler! ) dam thing, its um well the chassis was easy, the body, mmmm well I drive a roadtrain, and I have studied pictures of the body consistantly while on the road, it almost makes you want to put the triple off the road! ) very very hard to build correctly.

the biggest problem we have at themoment with this thing is we need an afterburner, so far I have only found afterburners to be about two feet to big, was this hand made? off a rocket?

the other issues we have are the fact we have to modify/adjust certain things on it to suit the licensing in japan, we have to have opening side doors, indicators,
safety glass front screen etc etc.

we are running a 454 with NOS it has 425hp and 475 ftlbs torque at 3200 and on the NOS it has 552hp and 700ftlbs at 3200 it has spun those big tyres and lifted the left front of the ground all ready.

the nine inch diff is a US Strange centre with 35spline detroit locker and as per movie Howe hubs, the steering is all custom as per movie and its running the identical rack to movie cars, this was confirmed by the fact that wwhere we got our rack from they sent four to one place in england in 2004/2005

i think these guys work at the Advanced Sciences Division at Wayne Industries.

This is as exact as you're going to get as far as cloning the Warner Bros machine. It's probably faster.

Amazing work. Makes me happy.

...does it come in black?

What was your reasoning for making metal body panels versus resin ones?
