Well, I got into a time crunch and didn't have time to keep posting here but I did continue to take pictures...

Gelcoat

Layed in two layers of 1.5oz chop mat and then the 3/4" foamcore.  Added weight to hold it against the last layer of mat.  Unfortunately I was beginning to run low on resin and may not have left it wet enough.

After letting it set up, I removed the weights and layed another layer of chop mat over the foam.  I wanted to add three layers but was afraid I would run out of resin before I finished the next layer so I decided to quit here.  This is only a prototype anyway.

Popped right out of the mold perfectly!

Trimmed it up and put the two pieces together temporarily.

The two pieices after adding a few coats of primer to the "ugly" sides...

I attached the two pieces with knobs for easy assembly/disassembly.

Starting to layout the plumbing and drill some holes...

All plumbed and ready to go!

The only thing that didn't go well was the right edge in this picture where the foam is separated from the glass.  Why I didn't just ass a clamp there I'm not sure...

Well, they liked it and want six more!  One of which will be going to Australia...
