Ha! nice....well I figured the shagg-ster would have a part in the building. I can't wait till I get to that part of my build: the engine. right now it's all about chassis, tubing, impact resistance, crumple factors, rigidity, weld penetration, tube bending, tube measuring, and everything and anything to do with fabricating chassis. I'm all over the net on this and have the guys at this site for advice. so i think I should be at this for a good 6 months at least until I start looking for that V6. Hmmm...carburetor or fuel injection? and wait....can a fuel injected engine be modified to use a carb instead? Sounds hard to do.
...does it come in black?

Its REALLY easy to convert a fuel injected engine over to carborated, (given the year of the engine manufacture) i have found that some engines (95+) don't like to be converted to carborated as easily, but with the help of an Edelbrock aluminum intake, and a little patience you can convert almost anything over to carborated. Both versions have there +/-'s, With Fuel injection you get all the luxuries of a fast crank without the stubborness of not wanting to crank on a cold day (like a carborator) and the air/fuel ratio is much better monitored and controlled, Some fuel injection systems even have a "limp home mode" which means if the sensors completely fowl out between the engine and brain box, the system will switch to emergency systems to get you home (i love that feature, tho your engine will sound and look like its trying to die, black smoke everywhere), I'm not sure if an upgradable cam is available for a 60 degree block, but per-say if you wanted to run a cam on a fuel injected vehicle....you cant....not without having the brain box reflashed: the O2 sensor will sense that it is receiving too much fuel (amongst other vacuum problems) and shut the engine down after running for about 2 seconds, every time. Carborated engines don't have that technology (there stupid so-to-speak) so you can run a cam as big as you want (i personally run 518's and 292's from Comp Cams). But to convert an engine over to fuel injection isn't THAT bad either, the internal workings of both engines (again, depending on years) are basically the same from carb, to injection. The simple addition of a throttle body system on a specialized intake, a wire harness with all the right sensors, an 02 sensor on the exhaust, and a brain box and your good to go. Hey guys, been quiet for too long, just thought i would let you that i have started back on my project and completion is not that far away. My wife introduced me to this "plaster of Paris" stuff and i started using it rather than bondo, OMG that stuff is sweet. I will update you with photo's just as soon as i finish sanding down the passenger side of the car. Thanks again!

Plaster of Paris....hmmmph Sounds fancy-shmancy. Are you going to be building a bigger, life-sized, drivable one too?

lol, yeah it does, found it in the craft section at wal mart, and would you believe its the same size as a large can of bondo, but for the price of only 5 bucks (12 pounds per can) a heck of a lot easier to spread, and dries alot slower. Yep i plan on building one full scale and driveable, just like Thalon Design (the swedish batmobile) but that will be many many years from now, i got my cars and dreams set in sequence, and i dont plan on starting one project, until the other one is done, right now its set to: 1. get a house and land and a 4 bay garage, 2. get my a-b truck running, 3. restore my 72 camaro, 4. build the batmobile, 5. restore my 1935 Sedan, 6. kill over before making it to retirement  . Sounds like a good game plan to me lol. And i know it seems like a hella lot of money being spent, but 98% of all that will be done by hand, saving me mega money, the only thing i wont be building on that list (atleast not for a while, til we decide to rebuild) is the house.

dang i forgot about having to overhaul my 4x4 in there too, oh well, engine swap, cab swap, fram extention, suspension swap, axle swap wont take all that long, so i guess i can leave that one out of the "set plan for life"  I just bought my wife a '63 pick up and thats her project, she told me i cant touch it, its ALL her project, the welding, cutting, painting, fabrication, everything. all i did was donate her a motor and transmission i had sitting on the side for her use in the build.
