Dude...getting married and still having fun? Of course. And it doesn't stop after the wedding bells ring...the urge to build just keeps getting stronger...and take it from me: the longer you stay on this site, the more drive you have to build. the guys are GREAT here and it's definitely a good vibe. I love it here, and so will you.

congratulations!

HECK YEAH! i totally feel the good vibe from this site, ive never been around such inspiring, or fun-loving people all in one area before, i know I'm going to totally enjoy my stay here, as long as everyone will let me ^-^, My Wife-to-be thinks my obsession with the "gotham cruiser" is "cute" (by her terminology), and cant wait until we start the full scale version from scratch.

hey does anyone know of what WW2 aircraft the "throttle" lever was used out of? there is a really good shot of it in the 2nd batman movie, when the penguin takes over the controls of the Batmobile, but i cant seem to figure out if it is out of a P-51D mustang, a Corsair, Spitfire, P-40 Warhawk, etc.  Any ideas would be most useful, i plan on trying to detail the cockpit of my 1/6 as closely as possible, with few minor changes that i want.   Nothing major, but i figured i liked the idea of "colored" gauges in my dash rather than just solid white needle and numbered gauges....

....tho i admit, i have a LONG way to go before i get to that stage

Thanks again Everyone ^_^;

OOOOO INSPIRATION HIT ME, saw where someone was building a miniture Batmissile, on display with a section of what appeared to be the batcave behind it (not sure) but i liked the idea, SO im thinking when i get done (if i ever get done lol) with the Batmobile im making now, build about a 3x3x3 display stand for the car to sit upon, THEN, since i run me print shop, i can make some minture gauges out of reverse print backlit film paper, and put a light behind them to light them up, THEN make the front lights light up, and POSSIBLY make the cockpit able to open and close at the flick of the switch,  and just like the Batmissile model, have the power plug on the bottem somewhere, hidden.   Let me know if anyone thinks this would be well worth a display effort.  Or say screw it and go to Taco Bell and buy a bean burrito.

Thanks again guys ^_^

oh, but i did load a picture in my profile of my everyday (well was until i put it in the shop here recently) driven hot rod, as my personal picture, check it out if you like.  Lol, now i drive a station wagon, and since i got the nickname, Shaggy, thanks to my job at Budweiser, my Fiance wants me to put "Shagg'n Wagon" on the front windsheild.
