| I need to go see my third viewing. i saw it on Imax for the 2nd time and the Imax filmed sequences are amazing but the fight scenes are hard to follow. and I've settled on a name for my bridging vehicle. I liked the name "Thunder" but BWD added "Dark". so that's it...."Dark Thunder". the smaller one is called "Storm". Thanks BWave! Oh and seriously on a side note, there are more Bats around my yard lately. I've lived here for 10 years and I've always seen one or two. but lately there numbers are increasing. do they know what i'm thinking?

Will be on vacation the week after Labor Day... strategically planned for when the kids go back to school for a quiet week at home! Will hopefully be working on and starting Thunder's lower chassis at the local shop. With the exception of the tires and some linkage, I'm pretty much have everything I need for the rear...which is good for sizing up what is turning out to be full scale. I know I've blurted out time frames and target completion dates in the past. Now I've learned to not do so as things take longer than expected. Especially when resources are low (not just money, but time). The fact that i'm beginning to take the smaller model a bit more serious adds to the length of time it takes to accomplish things. However with the time there comes opportunities. I've already benefited from waiting and being patient. I'm learning more every day.

| Update..... after a discussion with the pool guy and feeling the sheer weight of the front, I'm going with TWO shocks for each arm instead of ONE. They'll be mounted exactly like the original. Here are the mounting brackets traced out on a piece of 3/16 steel. Hoping to use a plasma cutter for these.
