| I have a Stick and a Mig 3200, I use the Mig for just about everything. I use the Stick and plug it into my dryer 220 outlet works fine.

Hmmmph. Everyone raves about mig. I'll get a taste of the stick at least. I haven't welded in many years and i'm really itching to start...so I'll "stick around for a bit and then will be looking for a mig...hobart, miller, lincoln...i guess what matters is the power and not the name...thanks Builders!!
...does it come in black?

I've started. look familiar? thanks Gordon, Jack and everybody else that influences me. so enough of the mushy stuff. I'm a full time IT Manager for a bank going through a conversion - so this is the best break from that world and others. Music and my DJ equipment helps to, but this is my passion at hand. I've started my "mid-sized", 1/2 scale tumbler. no welder yet, so while I wait, I'll take the advice of a new friend and build a wood version. I see the obvious advantages of having a full scale model to work off when ready to fabricate with steel. My humble work area in the background...will slowly start filling this garage with more tools tools tools. need an air compressor, grinders, vices, welders and more. so here i come, slowly but inevitabley.

| More pics...starting to take a little shape...a little. still have to do the top part of the frame and rear. just wondering what to use to simulate the tube bending. i guess more wood...or maybe more PVC pipes with elbows for the tube bends? no..cause aren't those all 90 degrees? some tubes might be that angle but not all...so no PVC. yeah i guess wood...it is after all just a scale model. and looking bigger than expected. tires in pics are not to scale. those are the dingo rear tires. thanks guys....all of you. I'm on a mission ! 
19 hours of building. I can only imagine how long it would take to weld this much...and cost! HA! who cares! looking forward to it!!
