Don't worry. I use firefox on linux. Just upload the image and when it shows the attachment right click and copy the link, then use the url in the text area. At least that's how all the people not owned by MS have to do it.

Hey Conrad, if this is your first welder then just get a 220 Lincoln.  If you use Flux core or even .35 wire you should be good to go.  I mean I use a 110 and it will weld 1/8th steel with no problem.  If you are going to turn this into some sort of business then sure buy the $3000 Miller.  However even the all in one I used in school recently had its drawbacks.  All the folks there suggested getting a 220 Mig and a sperate TIG machine.  They said the All in ones do everything but nothing well.  So don't let this set you back or having a build thread will be pointless.

So as Nike says, JUST DO IT!

Thank you Jack...something to think about....i hear so many different views....but you're right: just do it. just get a 220 plug installed in my garage by an electrician friend. just buy a 220 welder, the steel I need for my frame and start.

as soon as i sneak the money out of the bank so wifey doesn't flip...her '97 Turbo Eclipse Spider needs it's timing done (68K miles...best thing we own, next to the house). would make a hell of a donor engine..HaHa...then there will be no more posts from me cause i will be dead.
