The Ragemobile!....that even sounds cool. I think I want one! So Ryan, put me on the pre-order list I really think you should do it. You might come up with something better than the real thing. Start making style drawings, you'll be amazed with what you come up with.-Matt

I'm actually not too great at drawing cars (but I could learn). I don't know who I'd pitch the idea to, either. It'd be fun, though.

| Hey Rage It seems to me the hard thing to do is start a car from scratch. People seem to get bogged down in the monumental amount of work that's involved. I like the idea of getting a running replica like that Boattail Auburn replica. Something that's running even an old Excaliber. Drive it around and enjoy it. Get it running perfect and then start the drawings along with cardboard mock up. Initially just tape it on and stand back. Taking a Boattail Auburn replica and just creating some fender skirts would get you close to the look. Remount the headlights into the fenders maybe adapting some 1940 Cadillac headlights suddenly the look changes. Two toning a car's paint can dramatically enhance the look. Keeping the top color light and adding darker paint will give the car a lower stance. Changing the ride hiegth by cutting the coil springs or drop spindles gives the car a raked out look. Heck even limo tinting a cars windows can give a car a wicked look. I like the idea of even buying some scaled down models of these cars and modelers clay just to see how the full size will look. Having the steering wheel, wheel caps, car emblems custom made with "Ragemobile" give it a custom detailed look. Maybe 1934 Boattail Ragemobile. Only one in the world.....hahahaha....Don't get me started....BWD

Actually I'd just want to do a replica of the Bentley Franay car. Creating a non-specific neo-classical car would be something I'd think about later.
What would somebody use as the base car if they were going to do a replica of the Franay convertible?

I WOULD USE A JAGUAR XJ8, IF YOU CAN GET A LATER MODEL.
I THINK THAT WOUNYLD BE BEST KEEPING IT IN TRADITION WITH
A UK CAR.
