| Excellent! Looking forward to all of them, especially the 1:50 scales. I have nearly all the newer Corgi Batmobiles, and those should look great together. A Super Elite?!?! Hard to believe they are making one better than this, awesome!!! Thanks Tony -Matt

"What Evil Force Drives...THE CAR" You're right, my bad. That makes even more sense, too. I didn't mean for you to think I was correcting you, Ryan...it is you who is correct. Most of the posters include the line WHAT EVIL DRIVES, I just don't know why the force part never made it onto the poster...what makes even less sense is what is on some of the Euro posters; (Spain) Asesino Invisible= Invisible Assassin (Italy) La Macchina Nera= A Black Automobile (France) Enfer Mecanique= Hell Machine (Germany) Der Teufel Auf Radern= The Devil On Wheels If I translated these wrong, by all means someone correct me...but it's what I could come up with. -Matt

Matt -- Its cool, I knew what you meant
It seems like the Munsters Coach and the Batmobile (Adam West TV series) are two of the most commonly reproduced speciality TV/movie cars. The latter was a Barris car, right? I can't always remember which cars were and which weren't -- a lot of cars get credited to him that he had nothing to do with. That's a complement, in a way.

This is sort of off topic from The Car but it is in the vein of replicas of great cars. Has anybody ever heard of the famous 1947 Bentley Continental Mark VI convertible with coachwork by Franay? Only one was built. In 1999 the car was for sale via www.ebentley.com for $2.5 million US. It sold April 3rd, 2006 for $1,728,000. Is a replica of this prettymuch a pipe dream?
