Using my 'glass canopy as a template I plan on fabricating a new canopy from sheet steel then I can weld in a proper recessed window lip for safety laminated windshields to sit recessed or flush. This will also make attaching all the other necessary bracketry much easier via welding, not to mention the wiper blade can't scratch real glass.

Am currently building a full scale chassis jig to partially convert the chev donor frame to tubular, since this Bat's going to be a full time driver It's getting a very strong chassis.

believe me...I'm in for the long haul, once the pics start comin' it won't stop.
Chassis jig is at the fab shop...picture this- 4" square tube, 3' high, 20' long and 8' wide,
ya it'll probably weigh a ton too. I'll take pics when I paint it...orange or red.

Good to hear you are starting the 89.  Best ever?  It's going to take a lot more then a few panels and a throttle.  Good Luck.  I look forward t
