| Bill, That really is excellent work. For anyone who has ever done even a little fiberglassing they can appreciate the work going into this project. I recently went to a car show in California where a guy had a replica Stutz Bearcat. Its like a 1920 model-T looking racer. On the steering column was a round windshield about 18 inches in diameter. I asked him why he even had that stupid looking thing on his car and he said to be street legal. It was his windshield and Met California standards. I was thinking with my Batmobile I am going to use speed glass for the windshield and a flip up half circle safety glass windshield inside the car to meet the safety glass law making sure I have the tempered glass sticker on it. I was thinking about using it like a Corvette's heads up display unit. Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated. Big Wave Dave

| Hey Dave, I think that the idea of a small flip up windshiels is kool! It may not be too much work to mount some sort of lighted guages down in the dash to reflect on it at night just for looks, but they need to be reversed because of the mirror effect i think. Bill

| I was asked in a PM how I was able to get the sides to match. As the above pix show, The area is split into quarters, and graph lines are drawn at two inch incriments on the right side, then it is measured for height, and width and depth at each of these two inch square areas. For practical purposes I call the topmost closest area 1-A. The graph is repeated on the other side, and I use home made feeler guages to show me where things should be at say....1-A through 1-g ," Left to Right". Then down two inches to number 2, etc...... all the way to 36-Q etc. Kindof like playing battelship.

| Bill will you leave the foam in the car or will this be a mold ? The mirror stuff blows me away making one side exact to the other. Very nice work hats off to you.
