That's me in front of the car the "not thin" guy
A certain Canadian asked to not be mentioned, so just trying to
make him happy! Yes, he is on the thin side! I was at a Celebrity Autograph signing and was near Barris' shop, so I stopped by but it was all locked up. SO I popped the curb and parked in the famous spot we all have seen the #1 and took a TON of photos! It was a fun day for me as well!

Does the '66 not have the same legal issues as the '89 supposedly has?

No Tim,
Same "EEK, the WB will take your children!" fears on the boards,
but WB doesn't own anything about the 66 other than the word BATMOBILE. The rights are all screwed up between Barris, 20th century, Greenway
Productions and DC/WB owning the names and words.

Never had any problems EVER. Barris used to send out
threatening letters to other owners who didn't buy
his "authentic" papers, but one brave owner stood
up and fired back a legal letter. End result was
Barris got tagged by the WB for claiming rights that
weren't his.

This is also why there are no toys of the 66 too!
