I snatched the dash out of the car yesterday and added a few new panels. I still need two more panels and install switches and lights. As you requested Jack here is the picture.

Kevin I love the center control panel but what do you think about squaring off all the little sections like the emer brake area and smoke abt area and engine master area fuel switch area. cut them in small parts then place them like above your new center piece one to each side or not. They really do look kick ass and you could photo copy that part and try it to see what it would look like cut up .Just a thought. bm2

I purchased the gauges last year, the aircraft gauges I rebuilt and installed them in the correct positions.
I am still missing three panels, after I install the last panels and add all the switches, knobs, and lights I will look at it to see what modifications I might need to make to enhance the looks of the dash. I wanted to make it more realistic looking than the real cars. The real cars have far too many Comm. panels to my liking.

If and when I ever get started back on my Camaro project, I plan on using the same basic layout. The gas, speedo., tach, oil, and all those will be the same. The monitor is going to be a dvd player where I can watch the special edition batman dvds. On the left in front of the steering wheel I will put my tuner switches and radio controls. And the other controls and switches that are on the batmobile will be replaced by various controls for nos, lights, speakers, flame pack, etc. I really like the look of black sheet metal over vinyl, I think I'll stick with that. I'll fabricate a shifter nob that looks like the throttle on the Kilmer car rather than the 89. As soon as I get started back on it I'll update you guys.

Also, who thinks I should change my avatar?
